My logic behind scoring the tracks
10: One of my all-time favorite songs or just simply amazing in every aspect. I have nothing bad to say about a song this good.
9: Really good song, one of my favorite songs.
8: A good song in many ways, but has some elements that are not to my liking.
7: A pretty good song. Not a favorite of me, but I can enjoy it.
6: An average song that has more better than worse parts, but not much.
5: A mediocre song. Has some good moments, but on the other hand lots of weak moments too to balance it out. Can be also a very pointless song that doesn't speak to me at all even though fails to be a bad song too.
4: A poor song. I really can't say I like it at all, but still I may listen to it once in a while.
3: A bad song. May have some potential but fails to use it in every way.
2: I can listen to it through if I have to, but I really don't want to.
1: I skip this song every time, no exceptions.
About
Hello.
This is my blog-format project for reviewing albums. My aim is to have every single album I own reviewed - but as my current collection includes more than 400 albums, It'll take me several years even if I manage to review an album every other day - thus this might end up as a forever-project. Anyway, I guess listening the stuff I own and writing about it is better pastime than just pointless surfing over the web.
With my reviewing method I will look at the album both one song at a time and as a whole, the final score being a rounded average score of the songs.
Unless I get better ideas, I will review the albums in a completely randomized order, using a random number generator.
And this link here is for those who are interested in what I actually listen to.
Currently reviewed: 11 out of 520 albums.
